Bush Driver Training


This course provides you with a better understanding of your 4WD and a knowledge of the Bush Terrain.
The course duration is one full day.  It will include a theory session and practical demonstrations.  You will be under instruction until you are confident in the varying situations.
After completing a range of obstacles including steep ascents and descents, wheel printing, vehicle appreciation, stall recoveries and recovery using other techniques, you will be ready to move on to the next stage.
 



The Course is finished off with a drive through the bush where all that has been taught is put together in a 1 hour drive. On this drive you are shown how to read the terrain and best ways of navigation of the obstacles.
You will leave being confident in your own ability and that of your vehicle.

Course:          Training– 4WD Driving

Description:    Upon  completion of this course you will have the knowledge, techniques and
                       attitudes required to drive a 4WD vehicle effectively and safely through  varied
                       terrain and where necessary, apply basic vehicle recovery techniques. Course
                       also includes daily basic vehicle maintenance.

How Much:      $210.00 per Driver ***
                       Includes one passenger—optional- whom we encourage to drive.

Includes:        Knowledge and understanding of how your 4WD works. Off road driving 
                       techniques.  Basic recovery equipment demonstrations. Advice on equipping
                       your vehicle.

You Receive:  A Certificate of Attendance. 
                       Ongoing support and advice.

You Bring:      Your own vehicle. Adequate drinking water. Morning tea, a light lunch and
                       a Folding chair.
